Turkey Trot for a Good Cause

Even though there are inches of snow on the ground, that didn't stop people from going out for a turkey trot.

The Casper Windy City Striders host a 5k and 10k turkey trot.

And it was just in time before everyone bellies up for that big Thanksgiving feast.

Not only did people come out for the exercise, but it was for a good cause too.

Grab your hats, mittens and running shoes.

65 runners came out to take part in the turkey trot.

Instead of making cash donations, runners brought nonperishable food items for Joshua's Storehouse.

And with only days away before everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving feasts, people were happy to come out for the race.

All the snow didn't discourage too many runners, knowing it was for a good cause.
