The Casper City Council voted to pass the deadly weapon ban in city related meetings in its second reading.  Both sides were represented at the meeting, using the Second Amendment as their defense, toiling over what a state militia really means.

In the end, the vote passed 5-4 in favor of the ban.   In its first reading, it passed 6-3.

The third and final reading is on December 20th at Casper City Hall.
