Hitching Post Arson Conspiracy

A lawsuit filed in federal court alleges that the owners of Cheyenne's Hitching Post Hotel conspired to burn down the facility to collect insurance money.
Much of the landmark hotel burnt to the ground in a spectacular blaze in September of 2010.
In its lawsuit, the National Surety Corporation says that the management of CJM Hospitality wanted to torch the Hitching Post to collect on a $13.6 million insurance policy. None of the owners or investors of CJM Hospitality have responded to the allegations.
City and federal investigators concluded that the fire was arson, but no arrests have been made. Cheyenne Prevention Division Chief John Narva told K2 News today, that he could not comment on the claims, because the case is still under investigation.
