"Story Book Christmas" Parade

While we just got through Halloween, and are preparing now for Thanksgiving... The Downtown Casper Christmas Parade is rapidly approaching!
Parade Coordinator, Lew Windsor joined us on GMW to share this year's theme as well as the requirements to enter your own float in the parade.
The parade will move along to the theme of a "Story Book Christmas" and Windsor says people have all kinds of ideas for their floats, from reading story books to dressing up like actual story book characters.

Windsor reminds us that **all entries must be lighted** as the parade is at night. She also made it clear that NO FLOAT should have a Santa on it, as there is only one Santa and he is at the end of the Parade. She says this keeps kids from seeing too many Santas, and ruining the magic of Jolly Old Saint Nick.

The parade will fill the downtown streets of Casper starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday November 24th. For more information call Lew Windsor at 232-8726
