Weather Causes Flight Delays at CNCIA
by K2 News Desk, firstname.lastname@example.org
Weather conditions prompted delays and even a plane to be diverted today at the Casper Natrona County International Airport.
Airport director Glenn Januska said weather conditions forced schedule changes for two aircraft's.
One delta flight arriving from Salt Lake City was scheduled to land in Casper at 12:25, however due to limited visibility the plane was diverted to Gillette and eventually returned to Casper around 3pm.
Januska said if a plane has limited visibility to land, they are directed to either make a landing at the nearest airport, or return to their original destination. A United flight scheduled for 4:30 to Denver was also delayed due to weather conditions.
The airport doesn't expect any further flights to be delayed or canceled. For further flight information, visit www.iflycasper.com
