Human Trafficking Bill Proposed
by Jeff Schuman, firstname.lastname@example.org
Wyoming is the only state without laws against human trafficking. While you may no think human trafficking crimes happen in the Cowboy State - think again.
Less than two years ago, federal agents broke up a multi-state human trafficking ring that was fronting itself as an employment agency for businesses in Wyoming. Authorities say it took advantage of foreign workers provided to at least one hotel in Casper and another in Douglas.
As K2's Jeff Schuman reports, lawmakers are now trying to make sure crimes like that never happen again.
