Snowstorm To Blast Wyoming

A large winter storm is expected blanket much of Wyoming with snow over the next couple of days. 
 
As of Friday afternoon, small flurries had already begun near Riverton and snow was expected to start falling in Casper around 11pm. As for snow totals, both Casper and Riverton are expected to receive between five to twelve inches of snow in some parts. Forecasters were calling for up to five inches in Cheyenne as well. 
 
Some mountain areas could see more than a foot of snow.
 
Most of Wyoming was under some kind of winter weather advisory on Friday afternoon. Both Casper and Riverton were under winter storm watches.
 
Forecasters say snowfall should last through Sunday afternoon.
