Snow Forces Trial Delay

Wednesday's snowstorm caused a one day delay in the trial of an Australian man who claims he was justified in robbing a Jackson bank because he gave the money to the homeless.
US District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson granted the delay at the request of 39-year-old defendant Corey Donaldson. Donaldson says the heavy snow prevented him from traveling from Cheyenne to his Nebraska jail cell, where he left the notes needed to proceed with his own defense.
Prosecutors say Donaldson stole $140,000 from the US Bank branch in Jackson on New Years eve.
