Recipes for Hope

Jeff Schuman reports, jschuman@k2tv.com

The Wyoming Comprehensive Cancer Control Consortium is looking for recipes with hopes of establishing the states first childhood cancer camp.

The recipes will be used in a cookbook that will be sold to raise funds for the camp. A camp would give children with cancer the chance to have fun and meet others in the same situation.

The Department of Health is also looking for stories, drawings and pictures of cancer survivors to make the book more meaningful.

All recipes must be submitted by May 13th.

For a recipe entry form, contact Jessica Perez, outreach coordinator with the Department of Health's cancer control program at 307-777-7362 or jessica.perez@health.wyo.gov, or visit www.fightcancerwy.com online.
