The Fourth of July fireworks show has come and gone. Although fireworks are illegal in Natrona County, local law enforcement agencies still received multiple reports of people setting them off. The City of Casper saw a majority of the calls, with a total near 40.

Natrona County law enforcement reported 19 calls relating to fireworks being set-off illegally. Authorities say they don't believe there were any citations issued.

In Natrona County, the fine for setting off fireworks is $1,000 and up to 30 days in jail.

Authorities also added it was difficult to keep up with all of the calls, therefore making it more challenging to locate the specific people setting off the fireworks.
