UW President Sternberg Resigns

University of Wyoming president Robert Sternberg has resigned. The university's board of trustees met all day behind closed doors before making the announcement after the 5 o'clock hour. Sternberg has only been on the job four and a half months. In that time...three deans and five administrators have left the university. Law school dean Steve Easton, who's resignation is effective tomorrow, has publicly challenged Sternberg. He says he was not consulted about a study on the future direction of the law school. VP for Academic affairs, Dick McGinity will step in as interim president. K2's Ryan Hillman attended the press conference and has the report.
