Thomas Miller Murder Retrial Day 2Submitted By: Liz Cooper, firstname.lastname@example.org
Multiple witnesses testified on day two of the Miller murder trial. The first half ot the day started with friends and acquaintances. The second half involved multiple officers who responded to the area on the early morning hours of March 27th, 2013. Natalie's good friend who was with her the day prior to the shooting, took the stand first. The jury was dismissed briefly this morning while she was on the stand so the state could try to admit hearsay evidence. Natalie's friend testified to Natalie telling her a few years ago that Thomas had held a gun to her head. However, Judge Wilking ruled the state did not meet the burden of admitting this heresay evidence. Therefore, Natalie's friend could not talk about that prior alleged incident. Multiple responding officers gave a play-by-play of their role that deadly evening. A video of Thomas inside an officers vehicle was played for the court, giving the first inside look of Miller's persona that night.
