6th Annual NIC Fest Begins

K2's Ophelia Young reports, oyoung@k2tv.com:

Six years ago, the Nicolaysen Museum began a mission to make people feel good by spreading art in all mediums.

Today the NIC Fest is Casper's largest outdoor festival.

This year there are a total of 67 vendors.  There will be an art car show on Saturday, 14 musical performances sounds from Latin Grass to Blues, there will even be a magic act.

The NIC Fest is one of the largest local ways artists get their work and name out.  It also allows the public to know what the Nicolaysen has to offer.

With a beer and wine bar as well as a kids play area, the NIC Fest is a celebration of art for everyone in the family.

The admission? An optional donation of a non-perishable food item at the gates.
