Health Officials Investigate Listeria Death

State health officials are investigating whether a Sheridan county woman died from contaminated colorado cantaloupes.
The health department says the woman's cause of death was listeria, but they have not released any other information about her.
Spokesperson Kim Deti says two other non-fatal cases in Laramie County now have been positively linked to the recalled cantaloupes from Jensen Farms in southern Colorado.
The centers for disease control has confirmed eight deaths across the country from those same cantaloupes. At least 55 other people in 14 states have gotten sick.
