| Job Responsibilities |
We have multiple openings on the evening news for crew members. Employees will be trained in all areas of news production. Placement in specific job will be determined by employer dependent upon what is needed and what employee excels at. Jobs include:
Director: Learn to direct the Evening and Weekend newscasts using scripts and communicating with on air talent.
Technical Director: Type fonts for newscasts, attention to detail and spelling a must. Listen for cues from director and take appropriate action when directed.
Audio/Video: Run microphones and video for newscasts.
Cameras: Set up camera shots and give anchors time cues. Must be vocal during commercial breaks, and must be silent during on air time.
Hours: 4:00PM-10:45PM with a 2 1/2 hour break. |
