Infant Murderer Sentenced
K2's Ophelia Young reports, firstname.lastname@example.org:
A judge handed down the sentence to a Mills man who murdered an infant this past April.
In September, Matthew Hankins entered an Alford Plea to second degree murder.
Police say he was high on weed and Xanax as he was taking care of a baby.
He then passed out and woke up to the baby's family screaming it was dead.
Today at his sentencing, Hankins told the judge he would give his life to have the baby's life back.
The judge gave Hankins 20 to 26 years in prison.
