Casper Deaths Believed to be Murder-Suicide
Police say the deaths of a married Casper couple were a murder-suicide.
The bodies were found in their home on West 12th Street yesterday morning. The victims were 60 year-old Walt McMillin and 55 year-old Jodi McMillin. They were found in their living room, with gun shot wounds to the head.
Police say it appeared alcohol played a role in the incident, and that the couple had a history of family violence. But as of Friday, it is unclear exactly who fired the gun. Police believe the incident happened sometime between 10p.m. and midnight Tuesday night.
Jodi McMillin's son sent K2 News a statement regarding his mother's death. Tyson Varrati says, "[Jodi] was a good person, she just had a lot going on in her life. With myself being in Virginia, my brother in Maryland, and her daughter in Idaho, it's just hard as a family to be together in a time like this."
