Missing Girl In Glenrock Found

K2's Megan Contreras reports.

The young girl abducted in Glenrock this morning has been found.
A family friend has identified her as 2-year-old Abriel Cane.
Police have released very few details at this time because the investigation is still ongoing, but Chief of Glenrock Police, Tom Sweet tells K2, she was found sitting in a vehicle, safe, alert and conscious in a pasture just southeast of Glenrock.
Police called us around 6 this evening to tell us they have 1 individual in custody for the theft of the vehicle.
No names are being released at this time.
Authorities are not releasing if the individual in custody is the one who abducted the child.
Converse County Sheriff's and Glenrock Police Department are conducting the investigation.
Just before 11 a.m. Glenrock Police received a call of the missing child and a report of a stolen vehicle.
An amber alert was issued shortly after the initial call.
A gentleman heard the amber alert over the radio and minutes later located the vehicle on the side of Boxelder Road.
Authorities say they have brought in a couple of people to the department for questioning at this time.
Mother and daughter were reunited this afternoon.
Sweet also tells us the amber alert did its job and served its purpose.
We will have more information as it becomes available.
