Falling energy revenues have prompted Governor Matt Mead to order state agencies to prepare for budget cuts for the July 2013 fiscal year.

Casper College is one of seven community colleges to be affected.

The budget cut is about 8 percent, which is a total of over $9 million for Wyoming Community Colleges.

We spoke with Dr. Nolte, the president at Casper Community College and he said that would be about $1.5 million for Casper College.

The college does not intend to lay off any faculty, but some classes may be cut or limited.
