Candidate Not Discouraged by Prison Record
A man running for Natrona County Comission says he is not discouraged by his prison record.
Bruce Young served four and a half years in the Wyoming State Penitentiary during the 1980's after being convicted of sexual assault against a 7-year-old girl. Young claims that he received a Governor's pardon and has maintained his innocence.
However, Deputy Secretary of State Pat Arp says no record of that pardon exists.
Young says he lost his copy of the pardon, which would have been filed with the secretary of state's office.
