Competency Hearing Set for Conant

A judge has set a competency hearing for the Wheatland man accused of killing his three sons and his brother last summer.
Prosecutors say Everett Conant III fatally shot the three and wounded his wife in July of last year.
District judge John Brooks of Douglas has scheduled a hearing for Conant next month in Evanston. Conant has recently been undergoing mental evaluations at the state hospital there.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges last January.
