The Hector Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding positive solutions to animal issues through community involvement and education, it was started by Sheila Amir and Mandy Fry.
The purpose of the non profit organization is to help raise money for animal needs by hosting events and donating the money raised at these events to different animal organizations around Wyoming.

The name "Hector" is the name of Sheila's dog that was rescued and treated after someone had abused him by throwing him out of a moving ...vehicle.
The shelter he was taken to had limited funds and were unable to treat him for his injuries.
Sheila adopted Hector, paid for his medical bills, and decided that it was time to take action and do something to help raise money for other organizations.
