Cody Abduction Suspect Arrested in Montana

On Sunday, the FBI announced that a man had been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and assault of an 11 year old girl in Cody.
FBI spokesman Dave Joly says the man was arrested in Belgrade, Montana. Joly said no other details were available at the time, and said more information would be released by the Park County Attorney's Office over the next few days. Phone calls seeking comment from authorities in Montana were directed to the FBI.
However, officials at the Gallatin County Detention Center tell K2 that they have a man in custody that was arrested on charges out of Wyoming. 39 year old Jesse Speer was booked at the detention center late Saturday night and was being held on a $2,000,000 bond. However, neither officials at the prison or Joly could confirm that Speer was the suspect in the Cody case.
Joly added that the focus of the case would turn to the prosecution of the suspect. A press conference was scheduled for Monday morning at Cody City Hall.
On October 8th, an 11 year old girl was abducted in front of the Park County Complex. Investigators say a man lured the girl into his car by saying he needed help finding a missing puppy. The man then threatened the girl with a pistol and then drove her to Carter Mountain and assaulted her. The girl was found later that night by a group of hunters.
Last week investigators released images and a description of the SUV believed to of been driven by the suspect. The car was described as a 2004-2005 white Toyota 4Runner. On Friday, Joly said that a cargo box from the suspect's car had been found and was being processed for evidence.
On Saturday, a sketch of suspect was published (shown below). He was described as being a white man between 45 to 60 years old with short strawberry blonde or white hair, a neatly trimmed mustache or beard, and brown glasses.
