Search for Bank Robbers Continues

Cheyenne Police continued their search on Tuesday for two men who robbed a bank on Yellowstone Road Monday afternoon.
Authorities say the robbers are considered armed and dangerous.
Police spokesman Dan Long says the suspects were seen leaving the Wyoming State Bank in a white Jeep Cherokee which was stolen out of Laramie. The car was later found North of the bank, abandoned at Uncle Charlie's Bar on the corner of Yellowstone and Storey Boulevard. "From there, we can presume they got into a vehicle. But at this time, we don't know," said Long.
Police were called to the bank around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon. Investigators say two men dressed in black with their faces covered, showed weapons, and demanded money before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Cheyenne Police and the FBI are now working together to try and solve the robbery. Long says if you see someone matching the description, avoid contact and call Cheyenne Police at (307)-637-6583.
