Authorities have arrested a second suspect in connection with last week's fatal shooting at a South Cheyenne mobile home.

22-year-old Cameron Scott of Cheyenne is accused of stabbing another man during an apparent drug deal gone bad.

Last Thursday, investigators say Scott and two others were involved in a drug deal over marijuana at a mobile home on 212 Tyler Place. Laramie County Sheriff spokesman Gerry Luce says at some point during the deal an altercation broke out.

One of the men, Brian Sears, allegedly shot and killed 22-year-old Connor Tarr during the incident. At some point, Luce says Scott stabbed Sears before fleeing the mobile home. After he was stabbed, Sears allegedly shot at Scott multiple times.

While Scott initially helped authorities with their investigation, he was arrested in Cheyenne on Wednesday on aggravated assault charges.

Sears, meanwhile, was arrested on Monday and is charged with the murder of Tarr and the attempted murder of Scott.
