Rawlins Schools Put on High Alert

Schools in Rawlins were on high alert today, after a threat of violence aimed at the High School. 
Rawlins Police Chief Troy Palmer told K2 News that he has not been able to substantiate the validity of the threat, but that all threats are taken seriously. 
Police Officers, Sheriff's Deputies or Highway Patrol Troopers were stationed at all four schools in Rawlins. 
The investigation is continuing, and whoever made the threat could face possible criminal prosecution.
