Outdoor Warning Systems Tested in Natrona County

By:  Denise Pernula, dpernula@k2tv.com

Tomorrow morning an outdoor warning siren test will be issued by the National Weather Service to prepare and protect Natrona County citizens.

Subsequent siren test will be held on the first Monday of every month at noon beginning on May 2, 2011.

During an actual emergency, the sirens will be sounded followed by a voice message advising the emergency.  The process will be repeated twice.

When the emergency warning is over, the sirens will be sounded again using a loud "air horn" type sound followed by a voice message advising the emergency is over.
