Casper Man Charged With Knife Assault

     A wanted Casper man is located and charged with the knife assault that occurred earlier this month. Authorities went to his home on wednesday, where he refused to speak to them. 
     Police say Zacharia Johnson is one man allegedly involved in the stabbing of a man at an apartment complex on Beverly Street. 
     According to court documents, Johnson and another man, entered the victims apartment on March 4th and attacked him with a knife. The victim was transported to Wyoming Medical Center, where he was treated for multple stab wounds and defensive wounds to his arms.
     Casper Police Department had asked for the public's help to locate Johnson on March 16th and later thanked everyone for their help on their facebook page. The other man allegedly involved has not been arrested or charged, and is described as a person of knowledge in the case. Johnson made his initial appearance in court Thursday and was charged with aggravated assault charges.
     A preliminary hearing for Johnson is scheduled within the next 10 days.
