by K2 News Staff,

Authorities say five people were rushed to the Wyoming Medical Center with severe, but non-life threatening injuries Saturday evening.

Four of the victims were children under the age of 10 years old.  Authorities say they received report of an accident with injuries around 6:15 p.m.  Two vehicles- a red SUV and blue pick-up truck were involved; the photos in the video show the SUV flipped on its side.

As a last resort, authorities were forced to use the jaws of life to pry out two passengers from the wreck.

The red SUV was reportedly traveling north on Wolcott and was struck at the intersection by the pick-up truck that was traveling east on 13th St.

Police say a female driver and male passenger of the blue pick-up truck were at fault and that the driver was intoxicated.  Police also say it is possible the drunk driver may have ran a red light.
