Another Spring Snowstorm on the Way

Just a week after a massive spring snowstorm dumped up to a foot of snow in some parts of Wyoming, another batch of snow is on the way.
As of Monday afternoon, winter storm warnings were posted for much of southeast and central Wyoming. Cheyenne had already received 7 inches of snow and was expected to see even more. Forecasters say Casper will see about 8-15 inches of snow while Riverton should receive 3-8 inches through Wednesday morning.
Interstate 25 was closed from Cheyenne to the Colorado state border for some time on Monday morning due to the snow. The highway was reopened around 11 a.m., but driving conditions were still hazardous.
Schools remained open in Cheyenne throughout Monday. Natrona County School officials say no decisions have been made regarding any closures for Tuesday.
