The Cheyenne Regional Medical Center says the alleged victim of a home invasion robbery on Monday night, was never admitted to the hospital.
The victim told police that three to five men came into his home on East 17th and threatened him at gunpoint.
He says he was then beaten with a gun and went to the emergency room for treatment.
However, a spokesperson for the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center says they have no record of the man being admitted.
The victim claims the robbers stole cash, a flat screen-TV, a computer monitor and a video game console.
Cheyenne police were not available to comment on the case today.
