Yard Signs Restrictions Changing?

The amount of signs you are allowed to put in your front yard... might be changing. The Cheyenne city council is looking at loosening restrictions on yard signs which include political signs. Currently, the city code limits the number of signs on a single lot to two. The new ordinance would remove that limit allowing residents to have as many signs as they please... while increasing the maximum size allowed from 3 to 16 square feet. The issue was debated by council members for more than an hour Tuesday night, before moving forward with the proposal. The final vote will be held in two weeks, and will decide if Cheyenne residents will be able to display signs freely in their yards.
