Traffic Accidents Lead Workplace Deaths

Out of state drivers killed in vehicle accidents accounted for more than one-third of Wyoming's workplace deaths last year. The total number of fatalities in 2012 was 31 and that's the same number as in 2011. The department of workforce service says 16 of those deaths were in traffic crashes, with 13-of the victims being from out of state.
Officials say out of state drivers are likely less familiar with Wyoming travel challenges including mountainous roads and windy conditions.
