Murder Case Arraignment

The former Pennsylvania marine accused of shooting a man outside a gentleman's club in Natrona county pleaded not guilty in court this morning. 33 year old John Knospler Junior, who is free on a 500 thousand dollar bond, is facing a second degree murder charge. Knospler made his first district court appearance today, where he formally pleaded to the single charge. According to authorities, Knospler fatally shot 24 year old James Baldwin outside of racks strip club in early October. Knospler claims he acted in self defense. The defense says, the victim James Baldwin, broke the glass with his hand. Knospler's trial was originally set for February 24th, but judge Sullins said it had to  moved because of another murder trial set for that same week. Both parties and Judge Sullins will determine a rescheduled trial date for Knospler's case at a scheduling conference in the coming months.
