Committee Approves Guns on CampusSubmitted By: K2 News Desk, firstname.lastname@example.org
Last week, the house advanced a bill that would allow teachers to carry guns in schools. Today the senate moved the bill forward. Wyoming senate file 109 would allow school districts to decide whether or not they want teachers to carry firearms. If they choose to do so, the district would then have to create policies for training and other rules. The sponsor, Senator Paul Barnard believes larger school districts will not allow teachers to arm themselves.
