["NAT POP- SIRENS"]

The suspect, 25 year old Israel Silva allegedly stole two vehicles and fired gun shots into three other cars, which police are now saying had stolen items inside them.

Silva took Powell Police through neighborhood, running stop signs like you're seeing in the dash cam video.

"During the pursuit the suspect was throwing items from the truck including a handgun," said Powell Police Chief Roy Eckerdt.

It's too dark to see him throwing things from the car, but what you do see is the officer starting to pull back.  That's because Silva got up to speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour making it far too dangerous to pursue closely.

"As you can see in the video he eventually left the pavement...took some irrigation type roads along some fields," said Eckerdt.

The chase went on for nearly half an hour.  Then you see the truck start to lose control.

Silva's truck went off the road and was caught in irrigation piping.  After retracing the chase, police found the handgun Silva allegedly through out the window.

Silva faces a slew of charges including aggravated burglary, reckless endangerment, reckless endangerment with a firearm and eluding law enforcement.

     There were no injuries reported.
