Bus Rollover Victims Preparing for the Road Again
The Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps is staying another night in Iowa where their bus crashed yesterday morning.
A staff member says the Corps wants to make sure all are comfortable boarding a bus again.
The Casper-based group of 142 members, many of them teens, left Wyoming yesterday morning to Indiana.
Shortly after, one of the bus' tires blew and the bus rolled into an embankment, injuring 39.
None suffered major injuries, but the Corps says about a dozen are still traumatized from the scare.
They says the group will stay as long as they need for all members to feel safe.
Meanwhile, they tell us all buses have gone through inspections and are prepared to drive the group 10 hours to Indiana where their summer tour will begin in about two weeks.
