Convicted Murderer Seeks New Trial
Lawyers for the man convicted of killing a Jackson woman 27 years ago have formally asked for a new trial.
Last week, the Wyoming Supreme Court decided not to get involved in the case of Troy Willoughby.
But, the justices did say Willoughby could seek a new trial at the district court level.
Willoughby was convicted for the 1984 murder of Elizabeth Ehlers.
Former county attorney Lucky McMahon says that last week's claim from current county attorney Neal Stelting that she withheld a police interview with Willoughby the day the victim's body was found is incorrect.
