DAVID STREET STATION HAS OFFICIALLY UNLOADED CASPER'S COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS TREE. STANDING 40 FEET TALL, THE TREE WAS DONATED BY A LOCAL COUPLE AFTER THEY SAY THE TREE WAS TAKING OVER THEIR HOME. MULTIPLE SPONSORS WORKED EARLY TUESDAY MORNING TO CUT DOWN THE TREE FROM THE FRONT YARD AND TRANSPORT IT TO THE VENUE. THE COUPLE TELLS K2TV THEY WILL MISS THE GIANT CHRISTMAS TREE, BUT ARE HAPPY TO BRING HOLIDAY CHEER TO THE OIL CITY.

OFFICIAL COMMUNITY TREE LIGHTING WILL BE HELD AT DAVID STREET STATION SATURDAY AT 4:30PM, JUST BEFORE THE DOWNTOWN CHRISTMAS PARADE.
