Free Photos With Santa Claus

Casper, Wyoming - Santa put a smile on faces as he set up a free photoshoot to get that perfect photo with the big man himself. Kids, parents and even the 4 legged family members made their way to Market Square Saturday to say cheese and even help out a local charity. K2’s David Furtado reports.

The traditional Christmas photo. A staple for many families. Saturday at the Market Square some kids running, others simply sauntering into frame.

“This is a magical time of year and the kids come running - a lot of them just come running over and to see the smiles on the parent's faces when the kids get excited and all giddy. It's a wonderful experience,” said Santa Claus.

This photo shoot is doing more than just getting you Christmas card quality photos. Each letter written to Santa donates a dollar to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“It’s amazing. This is how wishes happen. People coming together, donating it’s great,” said Michele Lloyd with Make-A-Wish.

The letters, just one activity kids did to help donate to Make-A-Wish. Some young ones donating dollar bills. Photos were taken from 10 to 4 Saturday. Everyone sharing smiles, laughs and the occasional mess.

“What was you favorite part about coming to see Santa? Uh oh! It's okay Hunter. Motorcycle yeah. Like that motorcycle.”

Many kids, like Jonah here taking a photo with Santa for the very first time.

‘So I think he did pretty good. He was happy to see him. And we'll see what Santa brings him.”

Before heading out the door, Jonah had one last thing to say to jolly ol' Saint Nick.

“Bye Santa.”
