DEAN: SEVERE WEATHER ALERT DAY ISSUED FOR SATURDAY

As another round of snow pushes into Wyoming, Chief Meteorologist Erik Dean and the KTWO News StormReady Weather Team has declared Saturday, January 20th, 2018 a SEVERE WEATHER ALERT DAY. 

A Winter Weather Advisory, as well as a Winter Storm Watch have been issued for portions of the state as another round of snow is expected to enter this weekend. Casper Mountain could see 8-16" of snow, with the lower elevations seeing 5-10".

Plan on difficult travel conditions as roadways will become slick, visibility will become limited.

The National Weather Service in Riverton states that "Travel on Interstate 25 and along highway 20 26 may be severely hampered Saturday into Saturday night."
