UW Beats Montana 17-12 For 1st Win of Season

Junior Shaun Wick rushed for 134 yards and redshirt sophomore D.J. May added 96 on the ground to guide the University of Wyoming football team to a season-opening 17-12 victory over Montana on Saturday afternoon in War Memorial Stadium. The Cowboys also rolled out an improved defense, holding the Griz to just 42 yards on the ground, the lowest total for a UW opponent since 2008.
