Mike joined the K2 TV News Team in June of 2012. You can catch Mike's Weather Forecast every weeknight at 5PM, 6PM, and 10PM on K2 providing the most up to date forecasts for Casper and the Cowboy state.

Hailing from the Derby City of Louisville, KY, Mike is thrilled and proud to forecast the weather for K2 News. Mike is from just South of Louisville in a town called Mt. Washington where he is proud to trace back his Bluegrass roots! Graduating from Western Kentucky University in Spring of 2011, Mike earned a Bachelor's degree in Land/Weather/Climate degree with a minor in Broadcast News. During Mike's college career, he served as the WKU Storm Team manager, was an on-air Meteorologist for the award winning college television station with NewsChannel 12, and DJ for the college radio-station 91.7 WWHR as Thunderin' Mike. Besides doing on-air weather for the university, Mike also worked at WNKY-TV in Bowling Green as a Floor Director and Master Control Operator for two and a half years.

As a member of both the National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society, Mike is eager to learn about Wyoming's climate and extreme seasons. Mike enjoys challenges in forecasting which makes it vital to deliver the most accurate forecasts in regards to snow, severe weather, and the brisk winds.

When not forecasting, you can catch Mike exploring the great scenery Casper and Wyoming has to offer. Mike enjoys hiking, fishing, golfing, traveling, and his other love, culinary. Mike loves to talk to people and likes to engage on what they want to hear in the latest weather updates and forecasts.
